Joan I Griffin

Of Tonawanda, entered into rest March 14, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Griffin; devoted mother of Dwight (Yuko) Griffin, Jennifer (Kevin) Urbanski and the late Gary Griffin; cherished grandmother of Andrew, Jason, David, Mia Eimi, Thomas, Erin, Cole (Tessa) and the late Matthew; loving daughter of the late William and Clara Macholz; dear sister of the late Ruth (late Fred) Taylor and Marvin Macholz; also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Bivd., Amherst (near Eggert/Sheridan) on Monday from 3:00 - 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 o'clock at the First Trinity Lutheran Church,1570 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst (please assemble at church). Interment White Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers donations to First Trinity Lutheran Church. Joan was a longtime volunteer at DeGraff Hospital, very active in many church groups and a member of the Harris Squares.
