SALEM - Joan M. (nee Rogers) Of East Syracuse, formerly of Lackawanna, entered into rest December 27, 2015; beloved wife of the late Eugene F. Salem; devoted mother of E. Kyle (Susan) Salem, Eric (Heather) Salem, Christopher (Melody) Salem and Molly (Andrew) Snow; cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late James and Nora Rogers; dear sister of Patricia (Ramon) Mendez, Marion (late Amador) Rogers-Ortiz and the late James (late Joan) Rogers, Neil Rogers, Edmund (Marlene) Rogers and Lorraine Rogers-Backus; also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Basilica, corner Ridge Rd. and South Park Ave., Lackawanna, on Thursday morning at 9:15 o'clock. (Please assemble at church.)
