Joan C. Wieszala, 89, Eggertsville, entered into rest on March 1, 2025. Devoted wife of the late Melvin N. Wieszala; beloved mother of Christine A. (late Gregory M.) Smith and the late Melissa Taravella; cherished grandmother of Aaron Taravella and 6 other grandchildren; adored great-grandmother; loving daughter of the late Edward and Della (Hunt) Poe; dear sister of the late George Poe; fond aunt to many nieces and nephews; also survived by extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr. on Saturday, March 15 at 11am. Flowers gratefully declined.
