CARLIN - Joann Constance (nee Cook) Born April 30, 1932, passed away January 14, 2021, after a brief bout of COVID-19. Joann is the daughter the late Lawrence Avery Cook and Adelaide Agnes Cook of Flint, Michigan; she is predeceased by her husbands, Milton Carlin and Richard OConnor. Joann is the mother of Michele OConnor (late Eugene) Graves, Michael OConnor of Palm Bay, FL and Cynthia OConnor. She is the loving grandmother of Connie (Bob) Kotas, Venessa OConnor, Jerime OConnor, Lexis OConnor (Ali) Coleman, Johnathan (Carla) Graves and the late Aaron Graves; she is the great-grandmother of Chloe and Arianna OConnor, Jayce, Taj and Norah Coleman, and Giana and Aaron Graves; she is predeceased by her brothers, Lawrence and John Cook, and in December 2020, by her sister Ruth Bentz of Neosho, MO; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joann enjoyed her family most of all, was an avid lover of her dogs and an accomplished baker. She loved to decorate and is remembered for always having her hair and makeup perfect. Due to COVID-19, a Memorial Service will take place later this year when out of town family members can safely travel.
