ALAIMO - John A. Of Buffalo, entered into rest October 11, 2019, beloved husband of 65 years of Evelyn (nee Gizzo) Alaimo; devoted father of Mary Ann (Frank) DeCarlo, Patricia (fiance; David Pezzino) Buseck, Donna (Edward) Rutkowski and Lisa (fiance; Frederick Kintzel) Maraschiello; cherished Papa of Thomas (Sina), Kristen (David), Cynthia (Christopher), Michelle (Marc), Amanda (William), Victoria, Mark, Edward John and Olivia; adored "Papa John" of Brayden and Violet; loving son of the late Salvatore and Maria Alaimo; dear brother of Mary (late Michael) Accordino, Charles (Carol) Alaimo and Grace Bradley; also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Wednesday and Thursday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret's Church, 1395 Hertel Ave., Buffalo, on Friday at 9:30 AM (please assemble at church). Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War.
