John Ross Heffley

HEFFLEY, John Ross Of Colden, NY and Benson, AZ, entered into rest on January 4, 2024. Beloved husband of Carol M. Heffley; loving son of the late Walter and Mildred Heffley; brother of Peter Heffley; special cousin of Cheryl (Todd) Kaczmarek and Donna (Mark) Pinto; also survived by many friends. No prior visitation. A Military Burial will be held at a later date. Mr. Heffley was a member of WNY Horsemans Association, United States Trotting Association, and an owner with his wife of Pinehill Farms, which owned multiple harness race horses that competed at Buffalo Raceway and Batavia Downs and owned the Harness Shop at Buffalo Raceway. Mr. Heffley served our country in the US Navy from 1962-1966 as a nurse in Portsmouth, NH. He was also a member of the Mastiff Club of America and a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan and season ticket holder for over 40 years. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel).
