John Hodil

HODIL, John R. of Hamburg, entered into rest August 5, 2023. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Pierscinski) Hodil; devoted father of Christopher (Karolina) Hodil and Sheryl (Jeffrey) Klubek; cherished grandfather of Justin, Alexandra, Cameron, Carter, and Elle; loving son of the late Winfred and Dorothy Hodil; dear brother of Butch (Barbara) Hodil; fond brother-in-law of Sandra (Joan Orr) Pierscinski and Ronald (Linda) Pierscinski; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Wednesday (August 9th) from 4-7 PM, where a Funeral Service will take place on Thursday morning at 11 oclock. John will be remembered for his love of motorcycles, going to Allegany State Park, and was the happiest when riding his bike. In lieu of flowers, donations in Johns honor may be made to the SPCA of Erie County.
