John D. Hoffman

Hoffman, John D. Feb 23, 1954 - Nov 17, 2024 Of Orchard Park, passed away November 17, 2024, at the age of 70, surrounded by his loving wife and children. John was born on February 23, 1954, to Howard and Evelyn Hoffman in Buffalo, NY. John was the third of five boys. He attended Orchard Park High School, where he met the love of his life, Jean (nee Hudson). They married in 1973 and have two children. He was a devoted father to Christopher (Jennifer) Hoffman and Lori (Rich Lamb) Hoffman. John was an amazing grandpa to Lilly and Grace. John was always a tinkerer and made a living working with his hands. He took over the repair shop in Lovejoy in 1988 and R&J Service was established. Everyone that had the good fortune to cross paths with John will say he had a kind and generous heart, always willing to help out in any way he could. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Wednesday, (November 20) from 4-7 PM. A prayer service will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Johns name to Hospice of Buffalo or Erie 1 BOCES.
