Of Lackawanna, entered into rest March 11, 2012. Beloved husband of Katherine (nee Paxton) Monahan; devoted father of Linda (Christopher) Duncan; dear step father of Carlee (Phillip) Sallaz, Sean P. (Nicole) O'Brien and Michael J. O'Brien; cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren; loving son of the late Raymond and Katherine (nee Hohl) Monahan; dear brother of Dolores, Maureen Jackson, Catherine, Joseph and the late Raymond, Ronald and Paul Monahan; also survived by family and many friends. Mr. Monahan served in the US Army.
