Of Lackawanna, entered into rest February 12, 2015. Beloved husband of Esther (nee Toth) Palumbo; devoted father of Glenn M. Palumbo and the late Frederick J. (Mary Ellen) Palumbo and John A. Palumbo Jr.; cherished grandfather of John A. Palumbo and Matthew D. Palumbo; loving son of the late Anthony and Ernestine Palumbo; dear brother of the late Alice (late Frank) Marinelli, Caroline (late John) Cswaykus, Michael (late Helen) Palumbo, Simon (Eleanor) Palumbo and Frederick Palumbo; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Friday from 4-8 PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Palumbo was a US Army veteran of WW II.
