Pitillo, John R. "Tillie" of Orchard Park, entered into rest October 5, 2023. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Ford) Pitillo; dear father of Peter (Pamela) Pitillo, Susan (late Michael) Schaefer, Lori Ann (late Paul) Chiodo, Diane Pitillo, Gregory Pitillo, Nancy (Matthew) Jones, and Jeffrey (Kirsten) Pitillo; cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; loving son of the late John R. and Marie (Gugino) Pitillo; dear brother of Sharon (Lanny) Simmons, late Ronald Pitillo and Michael (Joan) Pitillo; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park (near Lake Ave.) on Friday (October 13th) from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Saturday morning at 10 oclock, please assemble at Church. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo of St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Mr. Pitillo was a veteran of the United States Army.
