PONCE - John Entered into rest August 6, 2018. Beloved husband of Teresa (nee Alvarado) Ponce. Devoted father of Terri (Jeffrey) Calabrese, Wendy (Michael) Surdej, John Ponce, Peter (Julie) Ponce, and Jeremy (Miranda) Ponce. Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren. Loving son of Iluminada (nee Rivera) and the late Julio Ponce. Dear brother of Julio (Linda) Ponce. Also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Thursday from 2-8 PM and thereafter, a visitation will be held in Holy Cross Church, corner of Maryland and Seventh St., Buffalo, on Friday morning from 9-10 o'clock, where a Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mr. Ponce was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War.
