STURM - John Walter Of Tonawanda, entered into rest February 23, 2017, beloved husband of 62 years to Patricia (nee Hartwig) Sturm; devoted father of Mary (Edward Stolla) Sturm, Tracy Sturm and John M. Sturm; cherished grandfather of Jacob Sturm. Relatives, friends and Ken-Ton Alumni may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Tuesday from 4-7 PM and Wednesday from 12 Noon-2 PM and 4-7 PM where the funeral will be held Thursday at 12 Noon. Mr. Sturm was a US Marine Corps WWII veteran who fought at Iwo Jima. He was an award winning soccer and baseball Coach at Kenmore East High School and a retired Physical Education teacher.
