John L. Tiberio Of West Seneca, entered into rest September 23, 2024 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 61 years to Mary Ann (nee Pietrocarlo) Tiberio; devoted father of Nicholas J. (Anna) and Maria (Rusty Hurst); cherished grandfather of Carla (AJ), Ashlyn, Gina and Raelyn; adored great-grandfather of Cleo and Ella; loving son of the late Nicholas and Faustina (nee Cristofanelli) Tiberio and son-in-law of the late Natale and Madeline Pietrocarlo; dear brother and predeceased by Tiberio (Philomena) Tiberia, Jancy (late Henry) Valerio, Anita (late Leonard) Koch, Rita (late Louis) Violanti, and Clara (late James) Eberhardt; fond brother-in-law of Lucy (late Clyde) Newark; also survived and loved by many relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Sunday and Monday from 3-7 PM where prayers will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna on Tuesday morning at 10:30 oclock. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. John was a Barber for 60 years, Member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, Matthew Glab Post, Holy Name Society of OLV, South Park High School Football Hall of Fame 2017 Harvard Cup recipient, Lake Erie Italian Club Member, and a United States Navy Seaman Veteran. He loved people, was always with a joke, and singing. John loved traveling especially to Italy, cruises, and going out to dinner with family and friends.
