John Walter
Kelly
Dec 24, 1967 — Oct 5, 2026
Wheatfield
John was a man of Honor, dedication, and deep love for family. He proudly severed his country in the US Army as a member of the elite 82nd Airborne Division, a formative time of his life that shaped his character, discipline, and a longline of duty and brotherhood.
Following his military service, he brought his sharp wit, charisma, and natural ability to connect with people into a successful career in sales. Known for his work ethic and infections energy, he didn't just build client lists- he built lasting friendships and genuinely cared about the people he worked with and was proud to serve Western New York.
While he worked hard, his true passion found outside the office. John was an avid hunter who loved the peace of the woods while hunting with family and friends, which earned his nickname as Silverfox. Whether it was in the tree stand, or tracking game or fishing, John made lifelong traditions and memories wherever he went.
John also had a deep love for the game of baseball. He loved spending time on the field and watching games from the first pitch to the final out. More than anything, he loved passing these traditions down to his two sons, Dalton and Andrew which was one of his greatest achievements.
Above all of his accomplishments, John's greatest pride and joy was his marriage to his beloved wife Tammy. For 35 years, they built a life defined by deep devotion, shared laughter, and a love like no other. Whether through quiet everyday moment of life's biggest milestones, his love for Tammy was constant, tender, and clear to everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy and his two beloved sons, Dalton and Andrew. Also survived by his sister Lisa (nee Kelly), Dawn Day, and several nieces, nephews of extended family, and a community of friends and brothers-in-arms who will miss him dearly.
