John F. Watts

John F. Watts transitioned home on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 following complications with lung cancer. He passed peacefully in Buffalo, New York at Buffalo General Hospital and was surrounded by the family he built. He was 78 years young. He was born in Porter, Alabama on December 2nd, 1944 to Caroline and Earnest Watts and he became the youngest of 8 siblings. He served in the Air Force for 8 years and the Air National Guard for another 8 years, then worked as the General Manager of UPS, retiring after 38 years. He is survived by his wife, Beryl Watts, his siblings, Sarah Brown, Joe Watts Sr., his children, Kevin Armstead (Dana), John C., and Cheryl Watts, and his grandchildren, Courtney, Emmanuel, Alexandria Watts, Christian, Amanda, Maranda, and Jeremy Armstead. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst on Saturday, May 20th from 12:00 Noon - 5:00 PM, where a Memorial will immediately follow.
