ZAMBITO - John J. Of Lake Worth, FL; March 27, 1928 - May 8, 2022. Loving husband of the late Audrey (nee Sherman); beloved father of John (Sarah) Zambito, Paul (Barbara) Zambito, Joan (William) Johnson, Margaret Midge (Leo) Wilson and the late Diane (Alan) Ruszkowski; cherished grandfather of 19 grandchildren, 23 greatgrandchildren, and two great-greatgrandchildren; son of the late Dominic and Giacomina (nee Russo) Zambito; brother of Joseph (Elaine) Zambito, late Salvatore (Rita) Zambito, late Leonard (Francesca) Zambito, late Pasquale (late Rose) Zambito and late Vincent (late Cecelia) Zambito. John served his country honorably in the Korean War. He was loved by his family with abounding affection and devotion. Relatives and friends may visit LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert, Amherst, NY, on Monday and Tuesday (May 16th and 17th) from 3 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Church (formerly Annunciation), 18 Greenwood Pl., Buffalo, NY, Wednesday, at 10 AM. Please assemble at church.
