José A. 'Tony' Maldorado Sr.

Jos "Tony" A. Maldorado Sr., 79, of West Seneca, NY, left us peacefully on January 1, 2024. Jos was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 15, 1944 to the late parents Benjamin and Pilar (Fuentes) Padilla Santiago. Beloved husband of Sharon A. Maldorado (nee Degen), met in Buffalo, NY in 1969 and together 53 loving years. Dearest father of Mary (Ray) Gunther, Tina (James) McCroskey, Jos Jr., Nikita and Xavier Maldorado. Predeceased by Tammie (Kevin) Renner and Adam Birkmeyer. Grandfather of Beth (Brian) Waite, Emma Meer, JC McCroskey, Ava Renner, and the late Keagan Birkmeyer; and great-grandfather of Alanna & Aubrey Waite, Lena Meer, and Ella Waite. Loving brother of Frank (Lorinda), Jesus (Barbara), Daniel, Benjamin (Elizabeth), Nef (Mechel), Pilar, Awilda, Migdalia (Manuel), Mary Linda (Darryl), and Lily Santiago Padilla. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Tony was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, music lover, and all things patriotic including bald eagles. A Memorial Service will be held on January 27, 2024 at Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Road, Orchard Park, NY 14127 from 11am-2pm, where a funeral service will be held at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks any consideration of donations be made to the American Heart Association.
