Joseph Paschal Abbarno

Age 64, of Amherst, entered into rest on October 16, 2024. Devoted father of James Abbarno and Kaleigh (Kenny) Johnston; cherished grandfather of Nataleigh Johnston; loving son of Pasquale and Virginia (nee LoVallo) Abbarno; dear brother of PJ (Diane) Abbarno, Mark (Tammy) Abbarno and Donna (Marc) Ebert; adored uncle of Danielle (Kenny) Reinhardt, PJ Abbarno III, Jeremy Abbarno, Austin (Nora) Abbarno, Dawson Abbarno and Drew Ebert and great-uncle of Quinn Reinhardt, Elena Abbarno and Atreus Abbarno; also survived by many extended family members and friends. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr. on Tuesday, October 22 from 4-8pm. A funeral service will be held at The Chapel at CrossPoint, 500 Crosspoint Pkwy, Getzville on Wednesday, October 23 at 10am. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Joseph was a long-time member of the North Bailey Volunteer Fire Company and was a former President of the Amherst Fire Council. A sports enthusiast, he loved to coach family and friends. Joseph also was a coach and Defensive Coordinator for ECC Football. He retired after many years as the Director of Career Services at ECC North Campus. Condolences may be made on this page.
