Joseph L. Bittar

BITTAR - Joseph L. Of Williamsville, entered into rest on April 27, 2021. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Attea) Bittar for 66 years; devoted father of Jo Ann (Robert) Salci, Mary Jo Bittar, Laura (Joseph) Boffa, Paul (Elizabeth) Bittar and David (Patricia) Bittar; cherished grandfather of Kyle (April), Lauren (Gavin) Salci, Caroline, Mark, Julia, Madeline, Thomas, Coleman and Elliot; dear brother of Theckla (late Joseph) Mullen, Ann (Thomas) Christman, the late George (Carolyn) Bittar and the late Madeline (late Anthony) Abdella; also survived by loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Joseph was a proud US Army Veteran serving in both WWII and the Korean War. Relatives and friends may visit St. John Maron Church, 2040 Wehrle Dr., Williamsville on Friday from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10 oclock (Please assemble at Church). Interment Western New York National Cemetery. Joseph was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society and St. John Maron Church for many years. He was also an NFTA bus driver for 40 years.
