Joseph C. Angelo, 72, of Amherst, entered into rest suddenly on July 4, 2026. Devoted father of Gian J. Angelo, Christopher D. (Áine) Angelo and the late Nicholas J. Angelo; cherished grandfather of Christian N. and Mia M. Angelo; loving son of the late Joseph and Ester (nee Safe) Angelo; dear brother of Denise M. Angelo, Julie A. (Michael) Sayers, and the late Anthony T. Angelo. Also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst, near Eggert Rd./ Sheridan Dr. on Saturday (July 11) from 12-2 pm, where a prayer service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm. Mr. Angelo was a United Air Force Veteran.
