Joseph A. Demske

Joseph Albert Demske, 69, of Tonawanda, entered into rest on June 20, 2025. Beloved partner of Carol A. Karnath; devoted father of Andrew (Angela) Demske and Alec (Kelly) Demske; cherished grandfather of Raelynn, Weston and Landon Demske; loving son of the late John F. and Rosemarie (nee Sanford) Demske; dear brother of John Demske, Mike Demske, Kathy Glaser and Michele Bettendorf; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; also survived by many friends and his loyal golden retrievers, Holly and Ella. A graduate of Kenmore East High School and Canisius College, Joe had a lengthy career in banking and real estate. He loved fishing and gardening. Everyone remembers Joe’s smoked meats and was considered a “grill master.” He was very involved in the alumni committees at Kenmore East. Joe never knew a stranger. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Tuesday, June 24 from 5-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Amelia’s Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., Tonawanda on Wednesday, June 25 at 9:30am (please assemble at church). Private inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joe’s name to Hospice Buffalo Foundation or to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation. Condolences may be shared on this page.
