CLARK - Joseph Dennis Of Amherst passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Hospice Northtowns. Joe was born in Chicago, IL to Joseph L. and Ann Winfrey Clark. Beloved husband of Mary Ellen (nee Anderson) Clark. Devoted father of Amy Clark (Narinder Walia) of Los Angeles, CA and Joseph J. Clark (Deidre) of Purcell, OK. Dear brother of Rita Russell, Lindsay Clark, late Judith Clark, Michael, Kenneth and late Matthew Clark. Cherished grandfather of Saminder and Simran Walia and Gabriel, Axel and Charlotte Clark as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Joe and Mary treasured visits with their children and grandchildren. His Catholic faith sustained him throughout his life. He was an avid reader and enjoyed cross fit and the YMCA. Joe volunteered for Journeys End Refugee Services in Buffalo and was a US Army veteran. He received a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois and worked for E.I. DuPont in Niagara Falls. Joe loved DuPont retiree breakfasts. A visitation will be held at Lombardo Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 on Aug. 1st at 4614 Main St., in Snyder. A Funeral Mass will follow on Aug. 2nd at St. Benedict Church,1317 Eggert Rd., Eggertsville, NY at 9:00 am. Private interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
