DISARNO, Joseph R. "Richie" of South Buffalo, entered into rest May 22, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Mary Jane (nee Kavanagh) DiSarno; devoted father of Linda Hontz, Laura DiSarno, Joseph A. (Diane) DiSarno, Anthony (Kathy) DiSarno, and the late Diane (Tom) Ashe; cherished grandfather of Greg (Cindy) Ashe, Carrie (Dan) Klauk, Mary (Eric) Zoldos, Nick (Kara Murray) DiSarno, Taylor DiSarno, Liz (Dan) Becker, Scott (Laurie), Craig (Margaret), Teddy Spiezio, and the late Leah Ashe and the late Jay Hontz; adored great-grandfather of 14; loving son of the late Ralph and Elvira DiSarno; dear brother of the late Sam (late May) DiSarno, late Evelyn (late Jerry) Bielli, late Mike (late Jackie) DiSarno, late Anthony (late Pat) DiSarno, and the late Sylvia (late Walter) Zablonski; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Tuesday (May 28th) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Charity Parish (St. Ambrose Worship Site) 65 Ridgewood Rd., South Buffalo on Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Please assemble at Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Richie was a United States WWII Marine Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richies honor may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
