Joseph entered into rest on August 31, 2026. Beloved son of Thomas and Cynthia (nee Bork) Durkin; devoted brother of Katie (Christopher Noris) Durkin; cherished grandson of Nancy and the late Kevin Durkin, and the late Vincent and Shirley Bork; fond nephew of Mike (Julanne) Durkin, Molly (Jim) Hockey, and Linda (Steve) Pufpaff; caring cousin of Kristen (Brett) Nash, Adrianna (Ryan) Fishback, Kevin (Shannon) Durkin, Connor Hockey, and Ryan Hockey; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the Pine Lawn Chapel, 2951 Harlem Rd., Cheektowaga, NY 14225 on Saturday September 19, from 10-11 am where a Prayer Service will immediately follow at 11 am. Our beautiful son, 29 years was simply not enough. 💔From the moment you came into our lives, you brought a light that was uniquely yours. We will always remember the gleam in your eyes—that spark that showed your joy, your curiosity, and your love for life.

You loved your family deeply, and being surrounded by the people you loved was where you belonged. You loved the outdoors, adventure, and all the fun that life had to offer. You knew how to make memories, find joy in the moment, and bring that joy to the people around you.

Our hearts are broken knowing we won't get to make more memories with you here on Earth. But we will carry every laugh, every smile, every adventure, and that beautiful gleam in your eyes with us for the rest of my life.
