Joseph E. Fiegl

FIEGL, Joseph E. - age 54, of Amherst, New York. Entered into rest on April 22, 2023. Joseph was born on December 27, 1968 to the late Gerard and Joan (nee Zglinicki) Fiegl. He is survived by his three children, Sierra Rose Fiegl, Colby Joseph Fiegl, Michael Jerard Fiegl, and by his former spouse and mother of his children, Susan C. Fiegl. He also leaves behind his siblings Lynne (Alan) Leutze, Karen (Bryan) Wells, Nancy Lenox, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst (near Eggert Rd.) on Friday, April 28th from 3:00-7:00PM, where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00PM. Joseph was employed by the Town of Amherst Highway Department and graduated from Williamsville East High School. He was a man that worked very hard and took pride in all his work. Prior to the Amherst Highway Department, Joseph worked in Landscaping for many years. He had such a gift and passion for creating beautiful Flagstone Patios and stonework along with designing landscapes. He loved to have his hands in the earth. Joseph was an outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and just being outside in nature. He was a father and a man that loved his children, parents and sisters more than anything. Joseph had a funny personality. He had the best smile and such beautiful blue eyes that you would always remember. He was loved and will be very missed!
