GIALLANZA - Joseph C; Of Elma, entered into rest October 5, 2026. Beloved husband of 65 years to the late Elaine L. (nee Peterson); devoted father of Theresa (Philip) Tantillo, Thomas (Mary Beth) Giallanza, Hon. Mary G. (Mark) Carney, Dr. Peterson (Bobbi Carter) Giallanza, late Michael (Jody) Giallanza and the late Joseph Giallanza Jr.; cherished grandfather of Michael (Karlee) Giallanza, Sara (Ryan) Aul, Celeste Anthony) Bochicchio, Anthony (Kristina) Giallanza, Elena Giallanza, Joseph (Paige) Tantillo, Anna Tantillo, John (Jillian Fisher) Tantillo, Steven Giallanza, Laura Giallanza, Catherine Carney, John Carney and Liam Giallanza; adored great-grandfather of Michaela Carney, Lucas Aul, Ryder Aul, Jacob Aul, Bowen, Wren Giallanza, and Peyton Bochicchio; loving son of the late Fortunato and Ermalinda (nee Caruso) Giallanza; dear brother of the late Mary (Robert) Keicher and Norina (Robert) Raynor; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbors. Joseph was a prominent builder and developer in the Western NY area, who along with his wife Elaine and son Michael left a legacy of creating homes for thousands of Western New Yorkers. Among his many charitable contributions, he devoted his time and talent to the Board of Trustees of The Gow School for nearly two decades. He served his country in the United States Navy stationed on the USS Block Island during the Korean Conflict. No prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Annunciation, 7580 Clinton St., Elma on Monday morning October 12, at 10 am. (Please assemble at Church.) Inurnment at Church of the Annunciation Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's name to St. Lukes Mission of Mercy. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel).
