Joseph Anthony Martínez Galán, 41, passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2026. Originally from Puerto Rico, he made his home in Buffalo, New York.

Joseph had a special gift for making others laugh—his quick wit and playful humor could brighten even the toughest moments. He loved in his own heartfelt way, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth; his cherished daughter, Lizmary; his adored son, John Anthony; his grandson, Noah Anthony, who brought him great joy; his loving mother, Beatrice; his sisters, Hilda, Yahaida, Sylvia, and Kathleen; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will miss him deeply.

Joseph’s memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the family he held close. May he rest in the peace he so richly deserves.
