Joseph J. Roeder Jr.

Of Akron and Ft. Myers Beach, entered into rest August 24, 2025. Joseph was the cherished son of the late Joseph J. Roeder Sr. and the late Nellie (nee Quinn) Roeder; loving companion of 27 years to the late Ann Eller; devoted father of Marilee (late Ronald Czyz) Roeder, Michael Roeder, Joseph (Cheryl) Roeder III, Lisa (Jeffrey) Wetzel, and Sean (Karen Peterson) Roeder; cherished grandfather of Molly (Michael) McCall, Glenn Ingersoll, Michael Roeder, Ashley Wetzel, Jennifer Merkling, Nicholas Roeder, Christopher Gauthier, Matthew (Autumn Miller) Wetzel, Marissa Merkling, Melanie Roeder, Joelle Roeder, Erin Roeder and Joseph Roeder IV; adored great grandfather of Anthony McCall, Aria Taylor, Layna Taylor, Carter Cleland and Dominic Maloney; beloved brother of Holly (Donald) Dacier and the late Peter Shaw; dear friend of Ruth Folger.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 76 Church Street, Lockport, NY this Saturday, August 30th at 10:00AM. A Funeral Reception will be held immediately following the service at All Saints Parish Hall, 76 Church Street, Lockport, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory.  He is now reunited in heaven with his beloved dog, Toby, who eagerly awaited him with unconditional love.
