Of Lackawanna, entered into rest April 28, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Marcia (nee Kij) Salvalzo; devoted father of Joseph (Gina) Salvalzo, Michelle Salvalzo, Nadine Garus and Gregory Otremba; cherished grandfather of Vincent (Christiana), Alicia, Alex and Anthony (Nicole); great-grandfather of Gracin; loving son of the late Joseph and Josephine Salvalzo; dear brother of John (Joan Salvalzo, Joan (Angel) Sanchez and James (Pamela) Salvalzo; also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Sunday from 2-6pm where prayers will be said Monday morning at 9 o'clock and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church at 10 o'clock. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Salvalzo served in the US Army.
