SPAGNOLA - Joseph F. Joe Spags Entered into rest peacefully, in his sleep, in his favorite recliner on August 14, 2021. Reunited with his beloved wife, Marie (nee Carbonara) Spagnola. Devoted father of Michael J (Mary) Spagnola, Dawn Marie (Richard) Lorenzo, and Dayna M. Termini. Adored grandfather of Laura (Keith) Baker, Michael Spagnola, Robert (Edna) Sprague, Heather (Ryan) Holland, Samantha Termini, Steven (Jamie) Lorenzo and Nicole Lorenzo. Cherished greatgrandfather of 14 and great-greatgrandfather of four. Loving son of the late John and Louise Spagnola. Dear brother of Donald (Gloria) Spagnola and the late Carmella, Anna and Josephine. Joseph is survived by many loving relatives and friends. Joseph was a proud member of the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant and served during the Korean War. He was the owner of Joe Spags Restaurant and JFS Parking. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapels), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Wednesday, 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10 oclock in the Blessed Sacrament Church, 263 Claremont Avenue, Tonawanda (please assemble at church). Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center or The Wounded Warriors Project.
