Joseph A. Tomasino

Joseph A. “Joe” Tomasino, 84, of Tonawanda, entered into rest on September 7, 2025. Devoted husband of 62 years to the late Grace (nee Sicignano) Tomasino; beloved father of Joseph Tomasino and Karen Pusateri; cherished Papa of Justin Tomasino, Joseph Patrick Tomasino, Michael Tomasino, Trey Tomasino, Russel Pusateri (Rachel Labrecque)  and Stephen Pusateri; adored great-Papa of Vincent Tomasino and Rocco Pusateri; loving son of the late Joseph and Rose (nee Sardina) Tomasino; also survived by nieces, relatives, and many friends. Joseph served honorably in the US Army. Joe led a longtime career in the Aerospace, starting in Procurement at Bell Aerospace and retiring from Sierra Research, Inc. as the President. Joe was an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed cooking for family. He was a devout parishioner at Infant Jesus Shrine in North Tonawanda where he also read for Mass.  Above all, he was the best Papa and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Snyder Chapel), 4614 Main St. near Harlem Rd. on Friday, September 12 from 4-7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 13 at Infant Jesus Shrine, 3452 Niagara Falls Blvd. North Tonawanda at 11:30am (please assemble at church). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joe’s name to Infant Jesus Shrine, 3452 Niagara Falls Blvd. N. Tonawanda, NY  14120. Condolences may be made on this page.
