Joseph Tuohy

Age 93, of Williamsville, NY, passed away Tuesday, June 10. He was preceded in death by wives Winifred Oliver and Dorothy Kaiser O'Brien as well as son Robert Tuohy. He is survived by children James (Rena) Tuohy of Williamsville, Jean Tuohy of Chicago, Irene Shea (Fred) Palmer of New Woodstock, NY, Kathleen (Eric) Peterson of Leawood, KS and Sarah (John) Teague of Centreville, VA. He is also survived by grandchildren Robert Tuohy, Christine Tuohy Hallings, Patrick Baker, Fred Palmer IV, Elizabeth Palmer, Margaret Peterson, Eric "Pete" Peterson, Kate Peterson, Hannah Peterson and great-grandson Graham Hallings. Joe Tuohy was born in Ireland. He earned an engineering degree from CCNY. A veteran of WWII, he served as a naval aviator, flight instructor and pilot in the Pacific theatre. Later he was a sales engineer in upstate NY for nearly 50 years.
