Josephine Winkler

WINKLER - Josephine (nee Squitieri) Of Amherst, entered into rest July 15, 2017; beloved wife of the late Walter Winkler and the late George Barile; dear sister of Adeline (late Joseph) Perrone, Louis "Rudy" (late Dorothy and late Cecidia) Squitieri, the late Michael (late Mary) Squitieri, late John (late Evelyn) Squitieri and the late Beatrice (late Joseph) Sarullo; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial honoring both Walter and Josephine Winkler will be celebrated on Saturday morning (July 29) at 9:30 o'clock at St. Christopher's Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo. Josephine was loved by all her caretakers, especially Joe and Rosalie. She worked for Elizabeth Arden for over 40 years as a makeup artist and teacher. She traveled the world and enjoyed her life with her family. Josephine was very active at St. Christopher's Church.
