SCHMELZINGER - Joyce M. (nee Cochran) Of South Buffalo, entered into rest August 8, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Donald Schmelzinger; devoted mother of Sharon Conway, Donald, Cynthia, Daniel, Deborah Toole, Dennis (Judie), and Sandra (Michael) McCarthy; cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Harold and Doris Cochran; dear sister of Judith (Ronald) Lapress, Jacqueline (Norman) Weaver, Robert (Sue) Cochran, and the late Patricia, Shirley, and Sally; also survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Sunday from 2-6 PM, where prayers will be said on Monday morning at 8:30 oclock and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Charity Worship Site (St. Ambrose Church) at 9:30 oclock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
