"It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35
Judith A. McCobb passed away February 1, 2025, at the age of 81. Judy truly knew that it was of a more blessing to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds. She was not only generous in life, but also in death as an organ donor. Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who would help anyone. Her radiant smile lit up any room she entered. She enjoyed reading, dancing, bingo, camping, and her beloved New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family, and friends.
Judy was born on October 25, 1943, in Rye, New Hampshire. She is the daughter of the late John (Bob) and Margaret (Peggy) Shepard.
She will be sorely missed and is survived by her sister Waverly Williamson and her family and children: Lauren (McCobb) and Paul Sheehan, Jennifer (McCobb) and Ivan Wade, and Douglas (Buddy) and Ellie McCobb, grandchildren: Caeley and Nicolas (grandson-in-law), Anna, Joshua, Katie, Matthew, Jacob, Tyler, Julie (granddaughter-in-law), Nicholas, Kelly, and great-grandchild: Brayden.
All whom loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace, and undying love and caring for them. In lieu of flowers, please give generously to St. Jude’s or The Pace Center for Girls “in memory” of Judy McCobb.
Although Judy is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
