Judy Ann
Zilliox
September 12, 1959 – April 4, 2026
A faithful servant of God, beloved daughter, and devoted mother, Judy Zilliox became absent of the body and present with the Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
Born on September 12, 1959, Judy lived a life centered on faith, love, and family. Her relationship with God was the foundation of who she was, and she poured that faith into everything she did. As a respected Elder at Beyond the Veil Christian Ministries, Judy uplifted and guided many with her wisdom, compassion, and gentle strength. Her presence was a blessing to all who knew her.
Judy’s greatest joy was her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to her seven children: Carmella “Christine” (Tyrone) Thompson-Miller, Rufus (Nakisha) Marks Jr., Dolores Sherry (Marks), Robert Marks, Michael (Nicole) Marks, Marcus (Lauren) Marks, and Leanna Obeng-Asante(Marks). Her love continues to live on through her children, as well as her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family, all of whom she cherished deeply.
Judy is survived by her loving mother, Dolores Zilliox, whose strength remains a cornerstone for the family. She was a dear sister to Nancy (the late Timothy) Bove and Jane Zilliox. She is now reunited in heaven with her father, Robert J. Zilliox, and her brother, Robert P. Zilliox.
Judy will be remembered for her unwavering faith and devotion to ministry, her kind and giving heart, and the deep, unconditional love she had for her family and community. Her legacy is one of strength, grace, and devotion, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Beyond the Veil Christian Ministries, 277 Masten Ave, Buffalo, NY, from 10–11 AM, where a Homegoing Service will immediately follow at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery .
