STAMEY - Julia B. "Judy" (nee Kennedy) Of Buffalo, entered into rest August 20, 2016, loving companion for 37 years to Nicholas Mortellaro; beloved wife of the late James B. Stamey; loving daughter of the late James and Grace Kennedy; adored granddaughter of the late Salvatore and Josephine Lauricella and the late Joseph and Mariah Kennedy; dear sister of Joann (late Edward) Reddy, Joseph (Carol) Kennedy, Harold Kennedy, Theodore (Netty) Kennedy, Mary Ann (Mike) Schipani and Gail (Rick) Godfrey. Julia was like a mother to Kathleen, Richard, Jamie, Alicia, Kayla, Brandon, Julia, Teddy, Tanya, Justin, Josh, Angie, Kelly, Cameron and Savannah; also survived by many relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Tuesday from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Parish (Annunciation Church), Lafayette & Grant Sts. on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. (Please assemble at church). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
