HANNON, Julie Marie (nee Evanovich) of West Seneca, entered into rest February 11, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Patrick Hannon; devoted mother of Brandon Hannon (Bailey Danahy) and Jacqueline Hannon (Carly Scherer); cherished grandmother of Eamonn and Rosaleen Hannon; loving daughter of James and Elaine (nee Jaworski) Evanovich; dear sister of Susan (Rick) Bukaty and Douglas (Amanda) Evanovich; fond sister-in-law of Carol (Pat) Hall, Cathy (Cy) McCormick, Colleen (Jim) Steffen, and Terry Hannon; adored aunt to many nieces and nephews; also survived by many family and friends. 

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Sunday (February 15th) from 2-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Martin of Tours Church, 1140 Abbott Rd., Buffalo on Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. Inurnment Hillcrest Cemetery will take place at a later date. 

Julie was a graduate of Nardin Academy and Trocaire College. She worked at Buffalo General Hospital as a lead radiological technician, involved in the transition of the old X-ray unit to the advanced X-ray unit in the 1980’s. Julie had a love for animals, especially her cat Tiger and her beloved dogs Gizmo, Max, Lizzie and Shannon. It was not unusual for Julie to bring home an injured bird and nurture it back to health. Julie had a natural talent for gardening, possessing a remarkable ability to make her plants, flowers and vegetables thrive. She was immensely proud of her children and her yard, which she especially loved sharing with her family and friends.
