Karen Webb passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a life filled with warmth, creativity, laughter, and devotion to those she loved.
Karen shared an incredible 67-year love story with her husband, Richard "Dick" Webb, who passed away on February 6. Together they built a home that revolved around family, laughter, and open doors-where friends were treated like family and every cat or dog was just another welcome guest.
Karen was a true jack of all trades. She fixed everything from pool filters to dishwashers, refinished all the hardwood floors in her home, hung wallpaper, refinished and reupholstered furniture, and even caned a chair by hand. A trip to the hardware or fabric store often meant inspiration for her next project.
Karen's kitchen was the heart of the home. The cookie jar was never empty, and her turkey tetrazzini-made every year after Thanksgiving-was a favorite among her grandchildren. The kitchen table was always a gathering place for coffee, conversation, and the occasional kitchen-table happy hour.
Karen loved her family deeply. She was a devoted mother to Jeff Webb, Matt Webb (Kristeen), and Jill Sugg (Philip); a proud grandmother to Dana, Mary Ann, Timmy, Kirsty, Jake, Lily, and Dan; and a loving great-grandmother to Sierra, Max, and Micah. She also carried her son Scott in her heart always.
She shared a special bond with her brothers and was beloved by her nieces and nephews, who knew her simply as "Auntie Karen."
Karen also had a playful side-she loved the casino, spent many Fridays bowling in The Villages, Florida, and was always up for a card game that lasted well into the night.
Karen will be remembered for her capable hands, generous heart, and the way she made everyone feel at home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA.
A Celebration of Life honoring both Karen and Dick will be held at a later date. 🐾
