Karen Lynn Hensley

Karen Lynn Hensley, of Williamsville, NY, passed away on March 21, 2023. Karen was born on August 6, 1952 to Rosalie M. Hensley and Walter P. Hensley in Akron, OH. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University. After a long and successful modeling career with the Ford Agency, she returned to school, earning a Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. Specializing in employment law, she practiced in New York City for nearly a decade before returning to Williamsville to care for her ailing mother in 2004. A fierce and lifelong advocate for those in need, Karen made a positive difference in the lives of many as an attorney with the Erie County Assigned Counsel Program for nearly 20 years. Karen is predeceased by parents Rosalie M. Hensley and Walter P. Hensley, as well as loved one Jerry P. Fahey. She is survived by siblings Kevin, Kimberly, and Walter Keith Hensley (Patricia Hensley), as well as by nieces and nephews Caitlin Kaufman (Tyler Jones), Michael Kaufman (Kamilla Giliazova), Elizabeth Kaufman (Erich Diehl), and Cullen Hensley, who all knew her as Aunt Fun.
