FRANKS, Kathleen G. (nee Otwell) of Hamburg, entered into rest on May 4, 2026. Beloved wife of Michael Franks; devoted mother of Thomas Franks, Timothy (Teresa) Franks, Maureen (PJ) Rybczynski, and Colleen, (Jonathan Berkhoudt) Wray; cherished grandmother of Marin Collins, Spencer Franks, Mackenzie Franks, Anna Rybczynski, Noah Rybczynski, Gretta Wray, and Dalton Berkhoudt; loving daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Otwell; dear sister of Eileen Shimsky, Faith Otwell, and predeceased by James, Maureen, Jack, Kevin, Thomas, and William Otwell; also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

Relatives and friends may visit the COLONIAL MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 3003 South Park Ave., Lackawanna on Friday (May 8th) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Martin of Tours Church, 1140 Abbott Rd., Buffalo on Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. Kathleen retired after 50 plus years as a proud RN. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Hospice Buffalo. Arrangements by LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel).
