Kenneth L. Collins

COLLINS - Kenneth L. Age 84, entered into eternal rest on September 24, 2019. Kenneth grew up and remained in the Tonawanda areas all his life. He had a passion for writing poetry and for gardening, and it showed in all he grew. He touched the hearts of many, especially with laughter. His pride and joy was his family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret J. (Hofmann) Collins; his children, Kathleen (Larry) Regan, Annmarie (Steve) Pawlik, Daniel (Jill) Collins, and Mary (Lee) Grantham; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Ella (Collins) Lester, and many nieces and nephews. Ken has chosen to donate his body to U.B. to help further education. A service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Lombardo Funeral Home, 885 Niagara Falls Blvd,. Amherst, NY. Gathering hours will be from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM with a service directly following at 11:30. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Make a Wish Foundation, or Tonawanda Soccer Club, 23 Mill St., Tonawanda, NY 14150.
