Kevin B. Knott, 38, of Buffalo, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his home in Buffalo, NY. Born on June 6, 1987 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada he came to Western New York with his family in 1993 and became a naturalized American citizen in 2001. Kevin graduated from Clarence Senior High School, Clarence, NY in 2005. Shortly after graduating, he joined the United States Army and served with pride in the 4th Infantry Division out of Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, CO. and overseas in Iraq until 2013.

Following his honorable discharge, Kevin returned to Buffalo to continue his education. He earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English Literature from Buffalo State College, graduating summa cum laude. His love of learning and dedication to his studies were evident to all who knew him.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Barbara Domiano (Leslie), and his father, Barry Knott. He is also survived by his sister, Katie Skoglund (Chris), and his beloved niece and nephew, Peyton and Carter Skoglund. Proceeded in death by his stepmother Sherri Horan (Barry).

Kevin found joy in music, hiking, photography, and art. He shared a special bond with his cat, Mitzy. Kevin will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Kevin's ashes will be interred at a private ceremony at the Western New York National Cemetery for Veterans, Geneseo County, Corfu, New York.
