Interment St. Matthews Cemetery. Konrad lived in three different countries during his lifetime, Germany, Canada and the USA. He began his own family in Canada after marrying and eventually had a home built in West Seneca, NY. He was a very active man. He enjoyed and excelled at many things including photography, hiking, camping, bowling, golfing, gardening and most of all, supporting his large family. Konrad loved to explore the outdoors and had real appreciation for nature. He often photographed wildlife in its natural element. We enjoyed listening to him tell detailed stories of his adventures in Germany and Canada. Some of his favorite places were British Columbia, Allegany State Park and his own back yard. He was a man of faith and attended church weekly. He also sent all seven of his children to catholic school. Konrad was a willful, strong and stubborn patriarch of his family and will eternally live in our hearts and souls. 'Prost! Auf ein wundervolles und langes Leben Konrad.'
