CANASTRARO, Laureen (nee Simmons) of Buffalo, entered into rest September 21, 2023. Beloved wife of Charles Canastraro; devoted mother of Jamie Donnelly, Tara Donnelly, David (Jami) Kosanovich, Jillian Canastraro, and Nicholas Canastraro; cherished grandmother "Gria" of Aidan and Landon Donnelly and Mia and Lena Kosanovich; loving daughter of the late Robert and Lois Simmons; dear sister of MaryBeth (Charles) Sardo, Karen Nelson, and Robert (Stacey) Simmons, II; loved by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; also survived by many family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave., on Thursday (October 12th) from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park, on Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Please assemble at church.
