LaVaughans Holcomb Sr, was called home on June 2, 2026, in the year of our Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larnzie and Daisy Holcomb; his brother, Maxie Holcomb; and his sister, Sarah Gordon.

He leaves behind one brother, James Holcomb; his longtime companion, Mary G. Gill; and his four children: Anthony Holcomb (Ramona), Theresa Williamson (Willie), LaVaughans Holcomb Jr. (Lousissica), and Shelby Holcomb Sr. (Kwyana).

He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, family, and extended family.
