COLAFRANCESCHI, Leda M. (nee Orsini) of Lackawanna, entered into rest January 23, 2026. Beloved wife of Alfredo Colafranceschi; devoted mother of Anthony (Karen), Mario, and Peter (Josephine) Colafranceschi; cherished grandmother of Michael, Kevin, Kaitlyn, Peter, and Adriana Colafranceschi; loving daughter of the late Pietro and Lavinia Orsini; dear sister of the Adele (late Severino) Aversa and the late Giulia Orsini; also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Friday (January 30th) from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Queen of Angels Church, 144 Warsaw St., Lackawanna on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Please assemble at Church. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Leda was a member of the Altar Rosary and Sacred Heart Societies for St. Anthony’s Church in Lackawanna. She had a passion for food, baking, cooking, needle work but her biggest passion was her love for her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leda’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
