WINTER - Lee D. Age 66, of Palmyra VA, entered into rest on August 4, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 40 years to Claudia C. (nee Zell) Winter; devoted father of Julie (Dominick) Cox; cherished grandfather of Isabella, Nicholas, and Devin Cox; step-father of Michelle (Keith) Williams; step-grandfather of MaryJane and James Kerns, and Keith and Tyler Williams; loving son of the late Sharon (nee Littlefield) and George Winter; dear brother of Susan (Glenn) Adcock, Paul (Barb) Winter, George (Deanna) Winter, and Sandra Lee Winter; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends on SUNDAY, August 15th, at the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Road, Orchard Park, near Lake Ave., from 2-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held MONDAY, August 16th, in Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Parish, 10893 Sisson Hwy., North Collins, NY 14111 at 10 AM. Please assemble at Church. Interment St. Martin Cemetery Langford, NY. A Memorial Service will be held in Virginia at a later date. Lee was a Union 602 Steamfitter, a member of the American Legion 162 in Lorton, VA, a member of Moose Lodge Chapter 653 in Woodbridge, VA, and the owner of Winter Haven Game Farm and Preserve in Palmyra, VA.
