Lena Smith September 18, 1929- December 8, 2024 SMITH, Lena (nee Valenti), 95, of North Buffalo, formerly of the West Side, entered into rest on December 8, 2024. Devoted wife of the late John J. Smith; devoted mother of Margaret A. (Michael) Long, Linda J. (Peter) Ruffino, Timothy G. (Bonny) Smith and the late John J. (Nancy) Smith, Jr.; cherished grandmother of John (Sara), Peter, Sarah (Leo), Michael, Jody, Bradley, and Timothy; adored great-grandmother of Sophia, Zane, Jack, Cecilia, Evelyn, Trey and Tessa; loving daughter of the late Antonio and Carmella (nee LoSecco) Valenti; dear sister of 13 late brothers and sisters; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr. on Friday, December 13 from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margarets Church, 1395 Hertel Ave., Buffalo on Saturday morning at 10 oclock (please assemble at church). Burial Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
